Division 1 Subcommittee
What We Do
- Network with local agencies to assess and address current construction contracting issues in relation to Division 1 / General Conditions & Requirements.
- Develop and update General Special Provisions (GSPs) to meet Local Agency needs and input, that complement Division 1 of the WSDOT/APWA Standard Specifications.
- Obtain pre-approval of Division 1 GSPs for FHWA-funded projects, aided by WSDOT Highways & Local Programs staff.
Meetings
- Second Thursday of January, March, May, September, and November. 10:00 a.m. to noon. Locations vary.
- At each APWA-WA spring and fall conference. We encourage anyone interested in the subcommittee’s activities to come to the meeting - you don't need to be registered for the conference to attend the committee meeting.
- Join our mailing list to be notified of meetings (membership is open - everyone is invited to come with ideas and input).
